The College of Natural Sciences includes four divisions and one department: Division of Mathematical Information Science (Mathematics, Information and Statistics), Division of Physics and Chemistry (Physics, Chemistry), Division of Life Sciences (Biology, Genetic Engineering, Food Science and Nutrition, Environmental System Engineering), Division of Speech Pathology and Audiology (Speech Pathology, Audiology). The Department of Physical Education alone is a separate department.
The College of Natural Sciences has several aims, including: to educate with the systematic research and teaching of the fundamentals, to apply these fundamentals effectively for the betterment of human life, and finally, to cultivate specialists who will contribute to the nation and the global community through their commitment to industry and academia.
