The advent of the twenty-first century marks the emergence of a completely different type of society that the trend of globalization has already touched off. It demands not only new forms of knowledge to support an understanding of global changes, but also that we adjust ourselves to these new conditions.
Therefore, the College of Social Sciences aims to equip citizens with a comprehensive understanding of social changes, that they may lead Korean society in this new century.
The five Divisions forming the College are Social Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, and Law; together, they are dedicated to educating goal-oriented elites, who will excel in every corner of society. These Divisions consist of 11 specialized departments designed to prepare our students for future needs through practical courses.
These departments include: Psychology, Sociology, Social Welfare, Economics, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, Law, Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Internet Media, etc.
