With the purpose of training public health professionals, we research about the theory and practice of public health for actively dealing
with aging, changed diseases, and change of public health environment.
It consists of two departments:
Major in Public Health, Major in Elderly and Family Health Care

▶ Major in Public Health

The aim of department is to educate student as a public health professional with every knowledge of public health in the various kinds
of area such as government, public corporation, hospital, school, etc.

The major includes health policy and management, health improvement and local public health, epidemiology and health informatics,
environmental and occupational health.

▶ Major in Elderly and Family Health Care

The Department of Elderly and Family Health Care concentrates on developing in students a sound understanding of the principles of
elderly and family health problems as well as that of practical knowledge, and thereby to cultivate area specialists who will be optimally
prepared for public health center, hospital, institution, school, government, etc. the major includes elderly health care and family
health care.
