Academy of Life Sciences and Biotechnology is established to conduct researches on Bio Technology fields background on Hallym's
outstanding researchers, 5 affiliated hospitals and research institutes.
It also participated in the industrialization of Bio Technology in cooperation with the industry.
In its affiliation, there is Hallym Brain Frontier Research Institute, Institute of Genetic Engineering, Institute of Audiology and Speech
Pathology and The Korean Institute of Nutrition.

▶ Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology

Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology is focusing on the researches of Medical bio-technology in cooperation with Hallym's College
of Natural Sciences, College of Medicine, Institute of Life Science and 5 General Hospitals.
It executes efficient researches by gathering Hallym's Bio Technology researchers and resources together, and contributes to the
development of science by interchanging human resource between departments.
It also has a system for sharing knowledge and research results from other theoretical fields to support Bio industry.

▶ Institute of Audiology and Speech Pathology

Institute of Audiology and Speech Pathology was established March 2001 to conduct researches on Audiology and Speech Pathology field and
contribute to promote the social welfare of disabled people.
It especially makes efforts to re-educate the related professionals and rehabilitate people with hearing and speech disabilities.

▶ The Korean Institute of Nutrition

The Korean Institute of Nutrition conducts collaborative researches between departments in Bio Technology fields related to food,
nutrition, health, and ageing.
It accomplishes various off campus projects in cooperation with Hallym's excellent Bio Technology related researchers.

▶ Hallym Brain Frontier Research Institute

Hallym Brain Frontier Research Institute plays a central role in collaboration between BT, IT, and NT departments in brain research.
It actively develops new technology and human resource through developing new medicine and functional food in cooperation
with industry and holds international conferences.
