Introduce
The 21st century is the age of the technology industry. Smartphones, internet, electronic equipment, semiconductors, new materials, and ubiquitous computing already have a dramatic effect on everyday life as they are combined with it. And it has shown new technical cultures that are gradually developed. The information and communication technology that is based on these technologies and products now play an important role in the future industrial market as well as the international industrial market.  
The college of Engineering, Hallym University has fostered excellent engineers through student scholarships, participation in overseas training, and the support of clubs by receiving about 10 billion won as the support fund for 4 years as it was selected as the program of the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development in 2004 and 2005 to 2008. And it has fostered 'practical engineers' required for the modern industrial society through the various and in-depth experiments and practical programs and furthermore, international engineers who led the future technology industry.

Competitiveness program

Seogongje, the Union Academic Seminar of the College of Engineering
- Is arranged in the 2nd semester as the union academic seminar for the 4 departments of the College of Engineering held since 2012.
- By sharing engineering technologies and information of each department and creating a sense of solidarity
- Presenting team and individual projects / Increasing achievement needs of learning through the presentation of clubs
- Offering prize money by screening each field.
