College of Medicine

  • Institute of Epilepsy
As the only basic and clinical joint research institute in Korea where many domestic basic medical scientists and clinical medical scientists jointly participate, the Institute of Epilepsy was founded in November 2006 Under the cooperation of Hallym University Medical College and Hallym University Medical Center to investigate epilepsy pathogenesis and develop new therapies. In addition to internal activities such as basic research on the occurrence of epilepsy, epidemiology of epilepsy, clinical studies related to etiology and treatment, database construction of the characteristics of epilepsy patients, and research on epilepsy-related specific policies, it is performing technical information exchange and joint research with external organizations under the affiliation of Basic Research Department, Antiepileptic Drug Research Department, Epilepsy Related Disease Research Department.
  • Institute of Nursing
In line with the diversification of health needs due to changes in the national healthcare environment, it performs research on the differentiation and expertise of nursing such as the development and evaluation of curriculum for the specialization in nursing which is a global trend, the development of educational methods and evaluation research. Based on diverse academic studies on nursing, it is to have a key part in the national needs of the healthcare industry, which is being variously challenged in the community.
