27th in the QS Asia University Ranking

According to the QS Asia University Rankings 2018, released by the UK agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), that rates universities around the world, Hallym University ranked 27th in Korea, and 179th in Asia.

Hallym University has ranked 179th, which is 22 places higher than the last evaluation, in the QS Asia University Rankings 2018 and ranked 8th in the number of teachers per student.
The evaluation includes assessing the Research capacity (50%), Education level (20%), Reputation of graduates (20%) and Internationalization (10%) in 426 universities in 17 Asian countries.
Especially, Hallym University has ranked higher due to the increase in the detailed rankings in academic reputation, number of publications, citations per publication, student number, and the ratio of International students and lecturers.
In this year, Hallym University has been recognized for its superior competitiveness by ranking in the Top 200 by THE 2017 Asia / Pacific Region for its' "Leaders in Industry-university Cooperation project(LINC+)" in Korea, and for contributing for three consecutive years to high school education.
Moreover, the university provides student-centered education services through the implementation of double majoring for all first year students, and the establishment of various interdisciplinary majors.
