Now, it has organized Social Welfare studies, Senile Welfare, and home therapeutics and produced experts having theories and hands-on experiences.

About the graduate school

Social welfare studies cognizes various social problems and needs of welfare and seeks plans to solve them. For this, Social Welfare studies' major contents are the development of practical and systematic approaches in social resources. Understanding about the industrial society, recognition of social problems, beliefs in intellectual capacity, ethical judgement, and social justice to be able to present plans to solve them, and the power of execution are required. Therefore, in this master's course, the educational objectives are to make the people who engaged in theoretical studies of social welfare studies and social welfare practice learn knowledge, technologies, and value necessary for preventing and solving social problems by giving them opportunities of reeducation and furthermore, foster professional and high-quality human resources who can make a contribution to improving social welfare administration and policies.

The purposes of social welfare studies are to foster able experts in the social welfare field who solve problems of the people who suffer in this society by teaching professional knowledge, technical skills, and values related to social welfare based on Hallym University's foundation ideology and educational objectives.
